“Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) uses an array of scattered light within the skin to target specific skin conditions. Due to its versatility of light it is penetrable into different depths of the skin and works by creating a heat transfer to a specific target. Heat transferred to the target creates a reaction within the target leading to a more uniform and even tone, glowing with clarity skin and helps with ageing concerns.

IPL is best suited in the treatment of hyperpigmentation including freckles and epidermal pigment, vascular concerns including broken capillaries, rosacea and ongoing diffuse redness and ageing concerns including skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles. Treatments for each skin concern vary on what we are targeting and what area of the body we are treating. All skin concerns do require a course of 3-6 treatments at specific intervals.”
